If your cat has recently shown any of these signs, it may indicate cognitive decline — consider tracking how often and how long:

Less interested in you or the other pets — doesn't want to be around people as much
Clingier than usual, won't leave your side
Reacts differently than before to vet visits or strangers (more or less nervous)
Interacts less with the other cats/dogs at home, or seems more easily irritated with them
