If your cat has recently shown any of these signs, it may indicate cognitive decline — consider tracking how often and how long:
- Less interested in exploring — spends more time just lying around
- Grooming habits have changed (less grooming, or grooming excessively)
- Reluctant to jump up/down to high places, or hesitant on stairs
