bone meal
Naturally very high in phosphorus. Safe for healthy pets in moderation, but CKD pets should choose low-phosphorus formulas. Bone meal is also a major source of lead (Pb) contamination in pet food — young animals are especially vulnerable to lead neurotoxicity.
